Arsenal youngster Brooke Norton-Cuffy is currently away on international duty with the England U21 side and has been seen working alongside former-Arsenal full-back Ashley Cole.
Ashley Cole, now working as a coach for the England U21’s under manager Lee Carsley, spent seven years in North London from 1999 to 2006 before making the controversial move to Stamford Bridge. The former Arsenal and Chelsea left-back is widely regarded as the best left-back the Premier League has ever seen so there’s no one better Brooke Norton-Cuffy could learn from while away on International duty.
Ashley Cole made 107 appearances for England throughout his career whilst winning numerous Premier League titles, FA Cups, League Cups and even one Champions League during his time with Chelsea.
In a video posted by England on their official YouTube channel, the England Under-21 side were getting ready for their match against Luxembourg which showed Brooke Norton-Cuffy and Ashley Cole working together.
The 19-year-old defender has already been capped at four different age groups for England. The right-back has a big future ahead of him with England and at club level where he’s currently playing in the Championship as he’s on loan at Millwall for the remainder of the season.
In the video shared by England, the squad are taking part in a small-sided match. Norton-Cuffy was playing as a right-back alongside Cole who was playing a sweeper role. The youngster was being given instructions when in possession before being allowed to try and defend against some of England’s best young attackers.
