Fulham signs Leno from Arsenal

Bernd Leno joins Fulham from Arsenal on a 3-year deal which is valid till 2025.

Fulham completed the signing of the 30-year-old talented goalkeeper from Arsenal for a transfer fee worth 8 million euros with add on included.

Arsenal had an option to extend his contract by 12 months, but they didn’t as they want him to look for greener pasture. Leno wasn’t a regular starter at Arsenal. Aaron Ramsdale came in to Arsenal displaced him from his Position as the Club’s No.1

               

Leno was Fulham’s number one target as they had other options like Barcelona’s Neto, Manchester United’s Dean Henderson amongst others.

Speaking to FFCtv, Leno said: “It feels amazing to finally be here. I can’t wait to join the team, to train and play with the team.

“I’m relieved that everything is done. I’m just happy to be here. It took a little bit of time but in the end we made it, and that’s the most important thing.”

Bernd Leno joined Arsenal in 2018 and has gotten 25 clean sheets in 101 appearances to his name.
