Real Madrid star Antonio Blanco has joined La Liga rivals Cadiz on a season long loan. The Spanish midfielder will get enough playing time at Cadiz this season after failing to break into Carlo Ancelotti’s starting line up.
Blanco’s chances of playing for Real Madrid next season could be open with Casemiro being linked with a move to Manchester United. If the Brazilian decides to join United then Blanco could get a chance at Madrid next season after the completion of his loan move to Cadiz.
Cadiz CF released an official statement on their website to confirm Antonio Blanco signing from Real Madrid on loan.
“Cádiz CF and Real Madrid have reached an agreement for the loan of Antonio Blanco until the end of the season. Born in Cordoba (23/07/2000), he plays as a midfielder and has been trained in the lower sections of the Madrid team. Has made his debut with the first team of Real Madrid. He is also an international in the lower categories of the Spanish national team.
“The player will be unveiled to the media this afternoon in the stadium at 17:30. Welcome to Cadiz, Antonio!”
