Erik Ten Hag Unveiling Antony And Five Reasons Why He Choose Man Utd Over Other Clubs

After joining Manchester United on deadline day from Ajax, Antony says he can’t wait to contribute to the club’s success.

The 22-year-old has agreed to a five-year contract extension at Old Trafford after United agreed to a fee of €100 million (£85.1 million) for his services earlier this week.

United have paid Ajax €95m up front, with €5m due in add-ons. The fee includes a solidarity payment to Sao Paulo, Antony’s first professional club.

Antony will be reunited with his former Ajax boss, Erik ten Hag after he made Brazil international his priority attacking addition in the summer transfer window.

Ten Hag wanted a left-footed forward to balance out United’s lopsided attack, and Antony can’t wait to repay the faith shown in him by the man who first brought him to Europe.
