The ballon d’or nominees for 2022 has been announced by the organizers, France Football.
The 30-man list of the ballon d’or nominees for 2022 has been revealed which has seen Lionel Messi being left out of the lists.
The 7-time Ballon d’Or winner, Lionel Messi, who won the title in the previous year, had been an ever-present amongst the nominees since 2006 and he usually feature in the top three since 2007 with the exception of 2018.
