Everton have signed center-back James Tarkowski on a four-year deal his departure from Burnley.
Tarkowski left Burnley following six years at Turf Moor, having played 194 Premier League games for the Clarets.
The 29-year-old, whose contract terminated at Burnley toward the finish of last month, becomes Frank Lampard’s first summer signing this late spring.

The ex-Brentford centre back uncovered the role played byEverton manager Frank Lampard led him to join the Merseyside.
