Kasper Schmeichel has joined Nice from Leicester City after 11 years with the Foxes

A star player leaves a Premier League side after 11 years at the club

His 11-year stay at Leicester City came to an end after Nice reached an agreement to sign him.

               

Kasper Schmeichel is a great goalkeeper just as his father was. Schmeichel won the Premier League title, FA Cup, Championship and Community Shield with Foxes

The 35-year-old Danish goalkeeper completed his medical with the Ligue 1 side after Leicester City reached an agreement with Nice.

While speaking at the weekend, Brendan Rodgers, Leicester City’s Head Coach made it clear that Schmeichel would be allowed to leave after his 11-years stay at the club.

He has been of great help to the Foxes. He has been the main man throughout the most successful period in the club’s history, winning different trophies, winning the Championship and promotion in 2013/14, the premier league title in 2015/16, and the FA Cup and Community Shield in 2021 recently.
