Super Eagles of Nigeria striker, Victor Osimhen has continued to break records in Italian Serie A. This time, the Napoli striker has broken a long standing Serie A record which was previously held by Portuguese star player, Cristiano Ronaldo.
According to a post which was shared by ESPN on their verified Facebook Page, Victor Osimhen has beaten Cristiano Ronaldo’s record for the highest vertical leap for a header in Italian Serie A.
Cristiano Ronaldo had leaped to a height of 2.56 metres to score a goal for Juventus against Sampdoria in an Italian Serie A game in 2019. That leap became the highest leap back then before Victor Osimhen broke it.
In the last weekend’s Serie A game between Spezie and Napoli. Victor Osimhen leaped a vertical height of 2.58 to score one of the goals in the encounter. He has now jumped 0.02 metres more to shatter Cristiano Ronaldo’s previous record.
