Real Madrid CF in the afternoon of Wednesday, 12th October, 2022, reportedly announced the sudden dead of Her former player, Rafael Verdu who played between 1949 and 1950, and who was the honorary president of Xerez Club Deportivo.
At the age of 94, Rafael Verdú was the oldest member of the Real Madrid Ex-players’ Association.
He was born on the 23rd of December 1927, making him the oldest member of the Real Madrid Ex-Players Association.

Real Madrid C. F., its president and Board of Directors are deeply saddened by the passing of Rafael Verdú, who wore our club’s jersey between 1949 and 1950, and who was the honorary president of Xerez Club Deportivo.
