Manchester United have been so impressive since the start of the Erik ten Hag’s era this season. The Reds Devil were crowned champions of the Carabao Cup and they are among the favorite in the race to winning  the FA Cup and/or Europa League.

Manchester United are also in the race to finishing this league campaign amongst the first 4 in the Premier League. However, some of their first team stars are injured.

Their top players are presently unavailable for match selection and it’s therefore uncertain if Manchester United will continue their impressive form this season.

Manchester United reserve goalkeeper, Tom Heaton rolled his ankle before the international break so Jack Butland is presently available as a replacement for De Gea.

Tyrell Malacia was omitted from the match day squad against Nottingham Forest with a sore knee leaving Erik ten Hag with no option but to use Diogo Dalot.

Lisandro Martinez picked up a knock in Manchester United’s 2-2 draw against Sevilla, he has been ruled out till the end of the season after fracturing his metatarsal bone in his foot, while Raphael Varane is expected to be out for few weeks.

Luke Shaw is also missing after sustaining an injury during the 1-0 victory against Brentford earlier this month.

Scott McTominay was not named in United’s 20-man matchday squad, while Donny van de Beek and Alejandro Garnacho are long-term injury absentees.

Marcel Sabitzer sustained a knock during the pre-match warm up against Nottingham Forest and he was replaced by Christian Eriksen.

Manchester United’s top goal scorer, Marcus Rashford, with 28 goals in all competitions has missed his side’s last 2 games and could be available for the second leg against Sevilla this Thursday.
