Leicester City tried to hold out for a World record fee on a Defender for Wesley Fofana’s deal this summer but the Foxes didn’t get their wish as they sold the Frenchman to Chelsea for a fee that’s a lot lesser than what they were expecting.
Manchester United Skipper Harry Maguire is the most expensive Defender in the Premier League history and Football history. The England International joined the Red Devils from Leicester City in 2019 for a world record fee of £80million.
Leicester City were expecting to get more than that from Chelsea on Wesley Fofana as they want a world record fee but they ended up getting less than £70million.
