Arsenal is currently one of the teams with the best start in Europe’s top five leagues this season. The Gunners have won all their four games in the English Premier League, and they sit on top of the league. The North London club’s performance is down to their good addition in the summer transfer window.
The Gunners added the likes of Gabriel Jesus, Oleksandr Zinchenko, Matt Turner, Marquinhos, and Fábio Vieira this summer, which means some of the players in the squad would have limited chances in terms of playing time at the club.
With the transfer window closing in a few days, here are the three players who could still leave the club.
Three Players Who Could Leave Arsenal Before Transfer Window Closes
1 Ainsley Maitland-Niles
The England international has not featured for Arsenal for some games now, and it is obvious he is surplus to requirement at the Emirates. He has been linked with a move to some English sides this summer and a move back to Italian Serie A after spending last season on loan at AS Roma.
2 Hector Bellerin
The Spanish defender is not in Mikel Arteta’s plan this season, and he’s yet to feature in any of Arsenal’s games this season. He has been linked with a move back to La Liga after spending last season on loan at Real Betis. A move back to Barcelona could be on the cards as he’s seen as an option in the right fullback position by Xavi Hernandez.
3 Albert Sambi Lokonga
The Belgian midfielder will also find it hard to play more games for Arsenal this season with the midfield department being choked up with top players. The young midfielder is linked with a loan move to AS Roma as Jose Mourinho sees him as a replacement for the injured Georginio Wijnaldum.
